It’s a rough #positivitytuesday but let’s power through.
I should be in Key West celebrating TuTu Tuesday for Fantasy Fest, but I am in PA barely able to walk recovering from having knee surgery yesterday, and I’m not allowed to fly for at least two weeks.
On top of that, I just found out someone stole an entire mini-split unit from the house that I am trying to sell… which makes it, you know, harder to sell without working heat. Up here anyway. In Key West people panic when it drops below 70. DOES ANYONE HAVE A WINTER COAT!?!?!
I often have to remind myself that I am a pretty unique individual. We ALL are in some way.
Be YOU. Let the world adjust.
The challenge is that sometimes the world will steal from you. Sometimes the world doesn’t appreciate you, or react to your kindness in turn. Sometimes the world is just a greedy twat and no matter how nice you are to the world, they are going to turn around and spit in your face.
Not even a “thank you” for your kindness, your effort, your generosity, your love.
Fuck em.
Never lose your dinosaur and don’t you fucking DARE stop being the best person you can be just because the world can be a shitty place.
